01The challenge

The challenge

ToolsGroup operates in the international B2B supply chain planning market. For five years the challenge was capturing qualified MQLs without compromising SEO or performance: WordPress as a landing factory, industrialized HubSpot and a Laravel calculator with end-to-end tracking. In 2026 came the bigger assignment: replacing that WordPress with a new website without losing the SEO signal of more than 2,000 live URLs, with a non-negotiable PageSpeed 100 bar and with editors able to build landing pages without touching code.

02The solution

The solution

We rebuilt the website as a headless platform: Strapi as CMS with modular composition and editable design tokens, and Astro generating static HTML with critical CSS inlined, served from the Cloudflare Pages edge. We migrated 733 content items and 70 customer stories in bulk, redirected the old WordPress URLs in a single hop and executed the cutover on 3 August 2026 with no WordPress left running. A Lighthouse gate in continuous integration measures every change before it ships: the site launched at 100/100/100/100 on mobile and desktop. Native forms store every lead in Strapi and forward it to HubSpot with full attribution.

Tech stack

How it's built

Front end

  • Astro Fast static front end

Engine

Data

  • Cloudflare Pages Edge hosting
  • PostgreSQL Database

Growth

  • HubSpot CRM & automation
  • GTM Tag management
  • GA4 Web analytics

03Architecture

How a request flows

  1. An editor builds or modifies a landing page in Strapi by combining reusable modules, without touching code and with the brand's design tokens applied automatically

  2. On publish, Astro regenerates the site as static HTML with critical CSS inlined and images optimized as AVIF and WebP

  3. Cloudflare Pages serves that HTML from the edge: every visit arrives without going through an application server, which is where the Lighthouse 100 comes from

  4. The old WordPress URLs redirect in a single hop to their new destination, preserving five years of accumulated SEO signal

  5. Every submitted form is stored in Strapi and travels to HubSpot and the client's portal with its channel and landing page attributed

04Measured impact

Results

  • +32% MQLs generated
  • +19% Organic conversion
  • 100 Lighthouse mobile and desktop (new site)
  • -40% Critical incidents

Methodology: Relaunch data verified against the production website: the URL census comes from the crawl run after the 3 August 2026 cutover (839 sitemap URLs and 8,383 internal URLs checked one by one); the content migration, from the CMS; the Lighthouse result, from the continuous-integration gate that measures every change. Duration and team come from the collaboration contract; the marketing metrics (MQLs, organic conversion, incidents) are in the results section of this case study.
